1. The blanket. He now sleeps with a blanket. (before now it would have been pointless to put a blanket in the crib with him b/c he was everywhere.) He asks for it at bedtime and you tell him to lay down and you cover him up. It's part of the routine. We traveled this past month and I took just a random blanket. He was a little upset that I brought the wrong one. oops!
2. 1st ear infection. poor baby. He didn't feel that great, but still wanted to play outside. He loved going for a ride.
3. We're still working on what "gentle" means. He loves Charlotte, but I think she loves him more... or at least she loves to watch him.
5. Here at the end of the summer Jack was jumping off the side of the pool and letting daddy catch him.
6. He's an accessory guy. Loves shoes. Loves sunglasses. Even likes hats.
This is first thing in the morning... notice he already has his keys on his hip.
7. All of a sudden he's had a vocabulary boom. He wakes up one morning, walks over and points to a door, "door," then points at our table, "chair." Corey and I both were like Wooooow.
8. He likes his sweets. I mostly hide them from him except for occasions when we're out. This is cake and ice cream at Uncle Mason's bday.
9. He loves cars. We bought him a dump truck to haul all of his rocks in. Speaking of rocks, he loves those too. We will probably be finding them everywhere for years. They're all over my car, in our laundry, we find them in pockets, in his outside toys, in his inside toys...
Also, don't think this is how it always is... this is like the only 2 times this past month he was allowed to touch her- HA!
4. now calling water "wash"5. Here at the end of the summer Jack was jumping off the side of the pool and letting daddy catch him.
